Job summary

Qualifications

• BLS through American Heart Association.
• National CMA/CCMA/CRMA/NAHP/NHA/NCCT certification required.
• Completion of Medical Assistant Core Skills as defined by scope of practice.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ physical, psychosocial, cultural and spiritual needs and report to the provider.
• Perform clinical tasks including vital signs, procedures, and preventive services.
• Contribute to care planning and coordinate with the interdisciplinary team.
• Provide patient/family education and assess health literacy and readiness to learn.
