Qualifications

• MA Certified (licensure) required.
• MA work experience required.
• BLS certification required.
• Previous medical office/clinic experience preferred.
• Knowledge of scheduling processes is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and prioritize emergencies vs non-emergencies.
• Document all activities in the medical record clearly.
• Maintain clinic equipment and supplies and support providers.
• Screen and contact potential new patients and collect data for office records.
• Manage front desk tasks: receptionist duties, patient registration, insurance verification, phone coverage, and scheduling.
