Responsibilities

• Proactively assists patients throughout visits and accompanies them to exam rooms.
• Performs clerical tasks related to patient care: scheduling, lab calls, prior authorizations, and forms.
• Records patient data: height, weight, vitals, allergies, and medical history.
• Assists with examinations, prepares rooms and instruments, and maintains infection control.
• Prepares specimens for lab analysis and administers medications or immunizations as directed.
