Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Technical Degree or Medical Assistant diploma preferred.
• 3–5 years Medical Assistant experience preferred.
• HEARTSAVER CPR certification required or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients throughout visits and accompany to exam rooms.
• Handle scheduling, imaging orders, lab callbacks and forms.
• Record patient vitals and medical history with accuracy.
• Assist with exam preparation and EKGs as directed.
• Administer medications/immunizations under supervision.
• Maintain infection control and prepare exam rooms between visits.
