Indiana University Health is seeking compassionate Medical Assistants to support our busy primary and specialty clinics in the Indianapolis area. You will room patients, manage messages, perform phlebotomy and point-of-care testing, and assist providers with patient care, documentation, and front-office duties.

Responsibilities include ensuring accurate coding, precepting junior team members as needed, and maintaining EMR files.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduation from a Medical Assistant program required.
• Current certification in medical assisting (CMA/RMA/CCMA/NCMA/CMAC/NHA).
• Knowledge of OSHA, CLIA, and ADA required.
• Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding required.

Aufgaben

• Room patients and support providers during clinic visits.
• Manage patient messages, paperwork, and prior authorizations.
• Assist with clinical and administrative duties.
• Rooming patients and completing intake.
• Assisting providers with patient care.
• Documenting in Cerner.
• Phlebotomy and point-of-care testing.
• Managing patient messages.
• Scanning and maintaining medical records.
• Preparing exam rooms and supporting clinic workflow.
