Indiana University Health in Indianapolis is seeking a Medical Assistant to perform direct patient care under supervision, prepare patients for visits, and support clinical workflows. You will document vital signs, histories, and chief complaints, and administer injections as ordered.

Requirements include graduation from a Medical Assistant program, and current certification in medical assisting (CMA/AMT/CCMA/NCMA/CMAC). AHA BLS is required, with OSHA/CLIA knowledge and strong data-entry skills.

Qualifications

• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Graduation from a Medical Assistant program required.
• Current certification in medical assisting from CMA/AMT/CCMA/NCMA/CMAC or equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Room patients and prepare them for provider visits.
• Obtain and document vital signs, patient histories, and chief complaints.
• Complete medication reconciliation and update patient records.
• Administer injections as ordered by the provider.
• Provide direct patient care and support clinical workflows.
• Obtain and process medical records as needed.
• Scan records and documentation into patient charts.
