Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Medical Assistant Certificate required.
• 1-3 years related work experience required.
• Experience with computer systems including web-based applications and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and takes complete/accurate information by in person or phone.
• Obtains vitals (BP, weight, pulse, temp) and assists with EKGs, injections, or phlebotomy.
• Sorts and maintains patient records, files documents, and ensures chart accuracy.
• Identifies OSHA compliance issues and assists in quality control and practice improvement initiatives.
