Trinity Health IHA Medical Group is seeking a compassionate Medical Assistant II to support physicians in exams, procedures, testing and specimen collection. You will document patient information, medicate per scope, and educate patients and caregivers to support quality care.

The role emphasizes teamwork, accurate medical records, CPR certification, and licensure/certification pathways in Michigan. Day shift, full-time with benefits.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED required; completion of approved MA programs/externships/internships.
• EMT or Paramedic training acceptable; Certified Athletic Trainer also acceptable.
• MA credentialing: CMA, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, NRCMA, or CMAC preferred.
• Current CPR certification required.
• 1–3 years of clinical experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Assist providers with exams, procedures, testing and specimen collection.
• Coordinate care and act as liaison between patients and providers.
• Transcribe exam information, diagnoses and plan into the medical record.
• Provide patient and caregiver education and instruction.
• Support with in-office tests, labs, and documentation; ensure quality control and timely communication of results.
