Job summary

Trinity Health IHA Medical Group seeks a compassionate Medical Assistant II to support exams, tests and procedures, track patient information and educate patients and caregivers. The role emphasizes accurate charting and team collaboration in a clinical setting.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of previous clinical experience or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Completed approved MA program or externship; EMT/Paramedic training acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Assist with examinations, procedures, testing and specimen collection.
• Support providers with prior authorizations within scope.
• Communicate test results and provider instructions to patients.
• Transcribe exam information, diagnosis and plan into the medical record.
• Manage tasks, maintain lab logs and practice audits.
• Coordinate care and act as liaison between patients and providers.
