Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program with 330 clock hours.
• Current certification from AAMA/NCCT/AMCA/NAHP/NCMA or AMT or equivalent.
• AHA BLS required; non-licensed must obtain before orientation end.
• No minimum experience required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examination and record vitals and history.
• Assist physicians and staff; prepare exam rooms and equipment.
• Handle clerical duties: registrations, scheduling, records, and reports.
• Perform injections and point-of-care testing per policy.
• Maintain stock, organize records, and support front office functions.
• Cross-train for additional reception duties as needed.
