Qualifications

• BLS certification required by the American Heart Association.
• Current Medical Assistant certification from recognized bodies.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and room patients for exams; document vital signs and health information.
• Perform laboratory procedures (e.g., strep test, wound culture) using aseptic technique.
• Assist physicians with procedures such as pelvic exams and colposcopy.
• Administer routine medications under orders or standing protocols.
• Facilitate care coordination, referrals, and communication with patient and team.
• Provide age-appropriate patient care and adapt to life-span needs.
• Execute basic and advanced clinical support tasks under supervision.
