Responsibilities include performing waived point-of-care testing, coordinating referrals, and maintaining exam room readiness. Requires a high school diploma or MA certification and EMR experience; ACLS may be needed for some specialties. Compensation is hourly with benefits.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent or Medical Assistant Certification.
• ACLS may be required based on specialty.
• At least one year experience in clinical or customer service.
• EMR experience and ability to use EMR.
• Professional communication.
• Strong interpersonal, customer service, time management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize in a busy environment.
• Ability to use electronic tools and applications.
• Compliance with privacy and PHI handling.
• HIPAA guidelines adherence.

Responsabilidades

• Provide efficient flow of patients to optimize appointment availability.
• Greet patients and escort to exam rooms; measure vital signs.
• Assist clinicians with routine procedures and tests; prep patients.
• Update EMR with medical information and lab results.
• Maintain patient communication on visit status and delays.
• Follow meaningful use guidelines for EMR data accuracy.
• Order and perform point-of-care testing (waived tests).
• Prepare and clean exam rooms and equipment.
• Assist with scheduling referrals and pre-visit labs.
