Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires High School diploma or equivalent and Medical Assistant Certification.
• BLS certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Experience with EMR and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides efficient flow of patients to optimize appointment availability.
• Greets and escorts patients to exam rooms and prepares them for examinations.
• Measures vital signs and assists clinicians with routine tests and procedures.
• Updates EMR with test results, medications and demographic information.
• Reconciles medications and manages refills as appropriate.
