Job summary

Mass General Brigham in Boston is seeking a Medical Assistant to support both clinical and non-clinical patient services under the direction of healthcare providers.

You will take vital signs, document patient information, schedule appointments, and help manage patient flow, collaborating with physicians and nursing staff. A High School Diploma and BLS are required; CMA certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent required
• BLS Certification preferred; CMA certification preferred
• Direct MA experience or medical field work 0-1 year preferred

Responsibilities

• Interview patients to obtain medical information and measure vitals
• Show patients to examination rooms and prepare equipment
• Record medical history and test results in medical records
• Perform general office duties and liaise with other departments
• Collect blood and other specimens and prepare them for testing
• Prepare exam rooms, keep rooms neat and stocked
• Sterilize instruments and dispose of contaminated supplies
