Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• No experience required with MA certification OR 1 year of MA experience without certification.
• BLS certification through American Heart Association.
• Proficiency with computers and basic medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• MA I: provide supportive patient care under supervision and ensure patient safety.
• MA II: perform injectables and advanced clinical tasks; requires more experience/certification.
• MA III: perform high-level clinical procedures and mentor staff.
