Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, part of the Optum family, seeks Medical Assistant candidates at levels I–III across Houston-area sites. Roles involve patient care under supervision, with increasing responsibilities at higher levels, including injections and advanced clinical tasks for MA II and MA III.

Pay is hourly, from $16.00 to $32.00, based on location, experience, and certification. A comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for development are offered to eligible staff.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program OR 1+ years of directly related experience without certification
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association
• Demonstrated knowledge of basic medical/nursing terminology
• Demonstrated computer proficiency

Responsabilidades

• Provide supportive patient care functions under supervision
• Ensure patient safety and comfort in accordance with standards
• Perform delegated tasks as directed by a physician or RN
• Administer injectables and perform advanced clinical tasks for MA II
• Serve as a resource for less experienced staff for MA III
