Job summary

Johns Hopkins Medicine is seeking a Medical Assistant (CMA) for our Internal Medicine Practice in White Marsh, MD. You will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced ambulatory setting, supporting clinicians across the continuum of care.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, CMA certification within 3 months of hire, CPR certification, and 2+ years of ambulatory care experience; completion of an accredited MA program is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required. Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant Training Program preferred.
• Certified Medical Assistant certification required within 3 months of hire. CPR certification required upon hire and recertification every two years.
• Two years of experience in ambulatory care preferred.

Shift: Non-exempt - Full-time - 40 hours per week - Mon-Fri

What You'll Need To Be Successful

• High School Diploma or GED required. Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant Training Program preferred.
• Certified Medical Assistant required successful completion of the AAMA, RMA/AMT, NCRMA (NAHP), NCMA(NCCT), RCMAS(NCMA), CCMA(NHA) or RMA (American Allied Health). Medical Assistant Certification, required within 3 months of hire. Five or more years of specific applicable MA experience in primary medical care may be substituted for formal training program provided eligibility for RMA(American Medical Technologists) exam. A valid CPR certification required upon hire and recertification required every two years.
• Two years’ experience in an ambulatory care setting is preferred.

Salary Range: Minimum /hour - Maximum /hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
