Johns Hopkins Community Physicians in Lutherville, MD is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our Greenspring Family/Internal Medicine practice. You will support patient care by administering medications and vaccines, taking vital signs, and maintaining supplies.

This on-site role offers comprehensive benefits and a friendly, patient-focused team environment. Ideal candidates are graduates of an accredited CMA program with certification within 3 months of hire and CPR

Qualifications

We are looking for a Medical Assistant (CMA) to provide high quality care to patients at our Greenspring Family/Internal Medicine practice in Lutherville, Maryland. The Medical Assistant administers medications and immunizations, obtains vital signs, maintains inventory of appropriate supplies, ensures safe and efficient patient flow.

Shift

Non-exempt - Full-time - 40 hours per week - Mon-Fri - 8:00 - 5:00 p.m.

What You'll Need to be Successful

• High School Diploma or GED required. Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant Training Program preferred.
• Certified Medical Assistant required successful completion of the AAMA, RMA/AMT, NCRMA (NAHP), NCMA(NCCT), RCMAS(NCMA), CCMA(NHA) or RMA (American Allied Health). Medical Assistant Certification, required within 3 months of hire. Five or more years of specific applicable MA experience in primary medical care may be substituted for formal training program provided eligibility for RMA(American Medical Technologists) exam. A valid CPR certification required upon hire and recertification required every two years.
• Two years’ experience in an ambulatory care setting is preferred.

Salary Range

Minimum /hour - Maximum /hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
