Job summary

Atrius Health in Wellesley, MA is hiring a Medical Assistant I. Under supervision, you will assist clinicians, manage patient flow, and perform routine clinical tasks in the exam room. Training and support are provided as you grow with the practice.

You will ensure EMR accuracy, help with pre-visit testing, and support patients through scheduling, referrals, and pre-visit labs. A strong customer-service orientation is essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalency certificate (e.g. GED) or Medical Assistant Certification.
• ACLS may be required based on specialty.
• One year experience in a clinical or customer service setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient flow of patients and greet/escort to exam rooms.
• Measure vital signs and assist with routine clinical procedures.
• Update EMR with medical information and test results.
