Vera Whole Health is seeking a certified Medical Assistant to support our Decatur, GA primary care clinic. This full-time role involves patient intakes, assisting with exams, performing injections and phlebotomy, and supporting diagnostic testing to ensure efficient clinic flow.

You will document accurately in the EHR, follow HIPAA/OSHA/CLIA standards, participate in care coordination, and educate patients on medications and preventive care.

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA/CCMA).
• 2+ years of Medical Assistant experience, preferably in primary care.
• Strong skills in injections, phlebotomy, specimen collection, and EKGs.

Responsabilités

• Assist providers with exams, minor procedures, wound care, and testing.
• Perform injections, immunizations, phlebotomy, and specimen collection.
• Complete point-of-care testing and prepare lab samples.
