Job summary

Vera Whole Health is seeking a compassionate Certified Medical Assistant to support our primary care clinic in Decatur. You’ll work closely with providers to deliver high‑quality patient care, ensure smooth clinic flow, and support both clinical and administrative operations.

This full‑time role requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and a team‑first mindset. Location at 2570 Blackmon Drive, Suite 400, Decatur, GA offers a Monday–Friday schedule with some extended hours.

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA/CCMA) with current credentials.
• 2+ years of Medical Assistant experience, primary care preferred.
• Strong clinical skills including injections, phlebotomy, and vital signs.
• Experience with EHR documentation and HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient intakes: vitals, histories, medications, allergies.
• Assist providers with exams, minor procedures, wound care, testing.
• Perform injections, immunizations, phlebotomy, specimen collection.
• Complete point‑of‑care testing and lab prep.
• Maintain infection control and clinic safety standards.
• Support triage, care coordination, and follow‑ups.
• Provide patient education on medications and treatment plans.
• Document accurately in the EHR and ensure privacy.
• Assist with scheduling, referrals, and front‑office tasks as needed.
• Demonstrate strong customer service and teamwork in a fast‑paced clinic.

How will you make an impact & Requirements

What You Bring

Compensation Range: $18.00 to $27.00 The anticipated base salary range represents the Company's good‑faith estimate of the compensation it reasonably expects to pay for this position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, skills, qualifications, geographic location, internal equity, and business needs.
