Primmed Pain Specialists is seeking a Hybrid Medical Assistant to support both clinical care and clinic operations in a fast-paced pain management setting.

Responsibilities include rooming patients, taking vitals, assisting during exams, injections, and procedures, and coordinating front-office duties to ensure smooth patient flow. CMA/RMA certification and BLS/CPR are required.

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA or RMA) required.
• Active BLS/CPR certification.
• IV placement training or certification.
• 2–3+ years Medical Assistant experience.
• 1–2+ years procedural or pain management experience preferred.
• Strong EMR experience and fast typing (40+ WPM).
• Working knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

• Bring patients into rooms and prepare them for visits.
• Take vitals, history, and reason for visit with accuracy and speed.
• Perform injections, UDS, and routine clinical testing.
• Maintain clean, compliant, and fully documented patient charts.
• Assist providers during examinations and urgent needs.
• Ensure OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control standards are always followed.
• Prepare patients for procedures and complete structured intake.
• Start and manage IV access using sterile technique.
• Monitor patients during procedures and recovery.
• Work closely with physicians and anesthesiology teams in real time.
• Assist with discharge, IV removal, and patient instructions.
• Make pre-procedure reminder calls and post-procedure follow-ups.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

You will be a key player in both clinical care and clinic operations, supporting providers, patients, and procedures from start to finish.

Clinical & Back Office

• Bring patients into rooms and prepare them for visits
