Job summary

All Star Pain Management & Regenerative Medicine is seeking a compassionate Medical Assistant to support clinicians in a hands-on patient care role. You will help with visits, rooming, and documentation in the EMR, and assist with procedures, injections, and point-of-care testing.

Ideal candidates are dependable, detail-oriented, and strong communicators who value HIPAA privacy and teamwork to keep the clinic running smoothly. Prior medical office experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Prepare for patient visits by reviewing schedules and ensuring relevant records are available.
• Welcome and room patients; accurately document vital signs, chief complaints, medications, allergies, and relevant history in the EMR.
• Prepare supplies and assist providers with routine and specialty procedures, including injections.
• Perform point-of-care testing and other assigned clinical tasks within training.
• Protect patient privacy and follow HIPAA and infection-control protocols.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare supplies and assist providers with routine and specialty procedures, including in-office injections.
• Perform point-of-care testing, specimen collection, and other assigned clinical tasks within your training and validated competencies.
• Keep exam and procedure rooms clean, stocked, and ready for patients; clean and reprocess equipment according to practice protocols.
• Support follow-up appointments, referrals, and routine administrative tasks, including scanning and faxing.
• Document patient messages clearly, route clinical concerns to the appropriate provider, and follow through on assigned tasks.
• Protect patient privacy and follow HIPAA and infection-control protocols.
• Work closely with colleagues to keep the clinic running smoothly.
