GoHealth Urgent Care is seeking a Medical Assistant to support urgent care operations in Pennsylvania. You will assist in examinations, perform vital signs, and prepare patients for care with a focus on efficient patient flow.

The role requires 1+ years of MA experience and relevant certifications or nursing/licensure; BLS is required at hire, with on-site training and growth opportunities available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of working experience as a Medical Assistant in a Hospital, Primary Care, Emergency Department, or Urgent Care setting.
• MA certifications (CCMA, CMA, RMA, NCMA, NRCMA, ARMA) or Nursing/LPN/LVN or EMT/Paramedic at hire if not obtained.
• BLS certification required at hire; CPOE certification within 2 weeks if MA cert not obtained.

Responsabilités

• Register patients and collect insurance information and documentation.
• Process co-pays and schedule patient appointments at assigned centers.
• Coordinate referrals to Specialists as needed.
• Perform vital signs and prepare patients for examination.
• Conduct point-of-care testing (flu, strep, UA, ECG, hCG) and document results.
• Maintain exam rooms, supply inventory, and charting.
