ChristianaCare-GoHealth Urgent Care, LLC is seeking a Medical Assistant to support urgent care operations. You will assist in examination and treatment under the provider's direction, manage patient check-in, document vital signs, and prepare rooms for examinations.

The role includes drawing blood, collecting specimens, performing point-of-care tests, and maintaining supplies and records to ensure smooth patient flow. BLS certification and MA program credentials are required or preferred.

Formación

• BLS certification required at hire date.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Experience as Medical Assistant or front desk preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Register patients and verify insurance; collect co-pays and schedule appointments.
• Measure vital signs and perform point-of-care testing as needed (e.g., flu, strep, urinalysis, ECG).
• Draw and collect blood samples; prepare specimens for laboratory analysis.
• Maintain exam rooms and front desk area; stock supplies and manage records.
