Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program (or equivalent).
• BLS/CPR required; MA certification within 90 days of hire.
• 1+ year related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist practice manager and physicians to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Room patients, document vitals, review medical history in EMR.
• Perform phlebotomy, specimen handling, and lab tests.
• Perform EKGs and other outpatient screening tests.
• Assist with minor procedures and prepare exam rooms.
• Handle patient communication and care coordination by phone.
• Maintain infection control and safety standards.
