Job summary

Endeavor Health is hiring a Medical Assistant in Glenview, IL (Glenbrook Hospital) to support patient flow and basic clinical tasks. The position is full-time with standard hours and occasional travel to Evanston, Skokie, and Lincolnshire sites.

You will greet patients, document vitals, assist with injections and phlebotomy where required, and provide front office support. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; CPR-BLS is mandatory; relevant MA certification preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program preferred but not required.
• CPR-BLS certification through the American Heart Association required.
• Medical Assistant Certification (AMT or AAMA) preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and escort them to exam room.
• Document vital signs, allergies, medications and reason for visit.
• Perform basic vitals such as blood pressure, height and weight.
• Provide front office support as needed.
• Phlebotomy and injections as applicable to specialty.
