Job summary

Hartford HealthCare Medical Group is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to provide basic clinical and clerical support in patient care settings across our network. You’ll perform vitals, chart prep, referrals, check-in/out, and assist providers with procedures, while maintaining EPIC EMR documentation and a patient‑centered approach.

Qualifications

Diploma from an accredited Medical Assistant program or CT CNA/EMT/Paramedic certification.
All required credentials maintained throughout employment.
Experience in busy medical office preferred.

Responsibilities

Vitals, medication reconciliation, allergies reconciliation, screenings, patient history, and virtual health.
Point of care testing with quality control and documentation.
Assists providers with in-house procedures as needed.
Scheduling, chart prep, referrals, check-in/out, prior authorizations, transportation facilitation.
Floats to other offices based on business needs.
