Job summary

Hartford HealthCare Medical Group is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide clinical and clerical support across multiple offices in Connecticut. You will perform vitals, reconcile meds and allergies, conduct screenings, and assist providers with procedures.

Role includes chart prep, referrals, scheduling and prior authorizations, with travel between offices. A clinical ladder offers advancement and ongoing training for Medical Assistants.

Qualifications

Diploma from an accredited Medical Assistant program or CT CNA/EMT/Paramedic certification.
BLS Provider credential within 3 months of hire date.
All credentials maintained throughout employment.

Responsibilities

Vitals, medication and allergy reconciliation, screenings, patient history, and virtual health.
Point-of-care testing with quality control and documentation.
Assist providers with in-house procedures.
Administrative support: scheduling, chart prep, referrals, check-in/out, pre-authorizations and transportation.
Float to other offices as needed to meet business needs.
