Job summary

Northeast Regional Medical Center is seeking a Medical Assistant to support patient care under a provider's supervision. You will assist with non-invasive procedures, maintain exam rooms, handle patient intake, and help ensure efficient clinic operations while delivering high-quality service to patients and staff.

The role requires completing an accredited Medical Assistant program and may require 0–1 year of experience in a medical setting.

Qualifications

• Completion of Medical Assistant program from an accredited school preferred.
• 0–1 year of experience in a medical practice setting or externship completed.
• Strong interpersonal skills and excellent patient service.

Responsibilities

• Assists providers with non-invasive procedures and vital signs.
• Prepare and clean exam rooms between patients.
• Manage patient intake, including reporting results and triage.
• Maintain daily logs and documentation for the clinic.
• Assist with scheduling, referrals, and insurance verification.
• Provide courteous, efficient service to patients and staff.
