Northeast Community Clinic is seeking a Medical Assistant to support patient care under the supervision of licensed staff. Responsibilities include vital signs, phlebotomy, injections, patient prep, and exam assistance to ensure efficient clinic operations.

The role requires strong communication and customer service skills, ability to work as part of a team, and CPR/BLS certification. Some travel between facilities may be required.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word/Excel/Outlook).
• Strong communication and customer service skills essential for patient interactions.
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred for patient communication.
• Ability to work in a team and independently as needed.
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or required per facility policy.

Responsabilités

• Interviews and exits patients; complete forms and obtain signatures.
• Check chart completeness and accuracy; ensure proper assembly of documents.
• Counsel individuals about program services and procedures.
• Perform phlebotomy, injections, vitals, and assist with exams as directed by provider.
• Route patients to maintain clinic flow and assist providers as needed.
• Maintain and stock dispensary; clean and stock exam rooms.
