Job summary

Eastern New Mexico Medical Group is seeking a Medical Assistant to support Family Medicine Walk-in Clinic operations in Roswell, NM. You will assist with procedures, manage exam rooms, and help with patient intake to ensure smooth, patient-centered care.

The role requires completing a Medical Assistant program (accredited) with 0–1 years of experience, and proficiency in practice software and office tasks to support clinicians and staff.

Qualifications

• Completion of Medical Assistant program preferred.
• 0–1 years of experience in a medical practice setting or externship required.
• Basic knowledge of medical office procedures and patient care techniques.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers with non-invasive procedures and take vital signs.
• Prepare and clean exam rooms before visits and procedures.
• Handle patient intake, document medical information, and report results as directed.
• Maintain daily logs and documentation.
• Support scheduling, referrals, and insurance eligibility verification.
