Northern Counties Health Care Inc. is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinical procedures, room patients, assist with documentation, and coordinate care across both clinical and administrative functions.

This hands-on role offers room to grow within a mission-driven health system. You will perform vitals, assist with exams and procedures, manage records in the EMR, and ensure a neat, prepared clinical environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS certification required upon employment and must be maintained.
• Minimum one-year experience in a community health center, medical office, or similar setting preferred.
• Certification from an approved course of medical assistant or nursing assistant study preferred.

Responsabilités

• Patient care and assisting with examinations.
• Obtain and record vital signs, height, weight, and reason for visit.
• Document care actions in the electronic medical record and maintain confidentiality.
• Assist with specimen collection, lab forms, and communication with providers.
• Set up for exams, sterilize instruments, and maintain clean, stocked exam areas.
