Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to support a busy Primary Care office in Palatine, IL. The MA will prepare patients for examinations, collect specimens, perform routine tests, and assist with injections and clerical duties.

Responsibilities include supporting multiple providers, handling basic lab tasks, and maintaining patient records in a fast-paced environment. Travel to other locations may be required occasionally.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Certified, Registered, and Clinical Certified Medical Assistants (CMA, RMA or CCMA) required to provide current certification or registration and should have at least 6 months of clinical experience.
• Candidates not certified or registered should have at least one year of clinical experience.
• Current CPR Certification issued by American Heart Association required.

Responsibilities

• Perform select clinical functions to enhance patient care: prep patients, obtain specimens, conduct routine lab tests, record results, may perform phlebotomy, and administer selected medications/injections under physician supervision; assist with clinic operations.
