Job summary

The Ohio State University Physicians, Inc. is seeking a Medical Assistant to support direct patient care in our outpatient settings in Ohio. You will room patients, collect samples, record vitals, and prepare exam rooms under physician supervision.

Training and ongoing development are encouraged within a collaborative team. Candidates with a Medical Assistant Diploma or related certification are preferred, and a pathway to certification reimbursement is available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with MA training/experience options.
• Preference for Medical Assistant Certification.

Responsibilities

• Room patients, record vital signs.
• Complete patient interview and history.
• Prepare patients for examinations and assist with procedures.
• Assist in examinations and treatments as ordered.
• Set up rooms and collect samples for routine lab tests.
