Job summary

NextCare is seeking a Medical Assistant / Medical Front Office in Round Rock, TX to support back-office patient care and front desk operations in a fast-paced urgent care setting.

You will assist providers, uphold infection control standards, manage specimens, and document patient information in the LIS/EMR system. A high school diploma and an approved MA program are required; certification is not mandatory but encouraged. Flexibility with shifts and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completed an approved Medical Assistant Training Program.
• Certification not required but may be preferred.
• Willingness to adhere to infection control and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Assist provider with exams, procedures and direct patient care.
• Dispense medications per policy and ensure safety protocols.
• Maintain infection control practices and prepare specimens.
