Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of hands-on Medical Assistant experience preferred.
• New graduates may be considered for the right candidate.
• Experience in reproductive health or working with the public is helpful.
• Bilingual skills in Spanish or Creole are strongly preferred.
• Ability to primarily support front office operations with cross-training to back-office tasks.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients, schedule appointments, verify insurance, and collect payments.
• Provide back-office Medical Assistant support as needed.
• Conduct patient intake including medical and social histories and STI screenings.
• Educate patients on birth control options and pregnancy-related services.
• Prepare exam rooms and assist with clinical tasks and lab work.
• Maintain patient records with confidentiality and compliance.
• Collaborate across the health center to support daily operations.
