Job summary

Planned Parenthood Arizona, Inc. seeks a Health Care Assistant to support front and back-office duties across our health centers. You will greet patients, manage paperwork, provide contraceptive counseling, perform basic measurements, and assist clinicians.

The role requires strong organization, discretion, and excellent communication. Prior health-care exposure and familiarity with HRIS/MS Office are beneficial; candidates should be prepared to travel between centers as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED - Required.
• One year of work experience in a health care facility - Not Required.
• Two years of customer service experience - preferred/ Not Required.
• Certified Medical Assistant - preferred/ Not Required.
• Experience with Windows based computer systems helpful.

Responsibilities

• Front desk reception, schedules appointments, and provides patient information.
• Back Office inventory and maintenance of supplies in exam rooms.
• Sterilization of instruments and instrument packs on an ongoing basis.
• Patient education and counseling; document lab results and procedures.
• Assist clinicians and perform venipuncture when within scope of practice.
