Hometown Primary Care is seeking a Medical Assistant/Receptionist to support clinicians in a busy primary care setting, ensuring smooth, patient-centered visits and a welcoming experience for every patient. Responsibilities include front-desk duties, patient check-in/out, vitals, point-of-care testing, phlebotomy, immunizations, exam support, and coordinating referrals and pharmacy communications.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in a physician practice, experience with E-Clinical Works, CPR

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in a physician practice or outpatient clinical setting preferred.
• Strong E-Clinical Works experience preferred.
• Passion for primary care or internal medicine.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes patients and visitors with compassion and provides exemplary customer service.
• Register patients and collect demographic, insurance, and payment information.
• Handle payments and co-pays; manage multi-line phone system.
• Take patient histories and document vital signs; perform point-of-care testing.
