Job summary

Innovative Medical Group in Temecula, CA is seeking a Back Office Primary Care Medical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will handle both administrative and clinical tasks to ensure smooth clinic operations and high-quality patient care.

You will prepare patients, assist during exams, perform phlebotomy and injections, manage specimens, and educate patients on care plans while maintaining a sterile, organized environment. Weekend availability and bilingual Spanish are a plus.

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification is required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a primary care or urgent care setting.
• Proficient in using electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examination, record vital signs and histories.
• Assist providers during exams and procedures.

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and versatile Back Office Primary Care Medical Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for both administrative and clinical tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic and the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examination, taking vital signs, and recording medical histories
• Assist healthcare providers during examinations and procedures
• Perform phlebotomy and administer injections as required
• Collect and prepare laboratory specimens
• Conduct basic lab tests and report results
• Ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked, and ready for use
• Educate patients on healthcare management and treatment plans
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a sterile environment

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification required
• Minimum of 2 year of experience in a primary care, Urgent Care or similar healthcare setting
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in using electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Bilingual - Spanish (Preferred)
• Must be able to work weekends

Experience

• Medical Assistant : 2 year (Preferred)
• Primary Care Clinic Experience

License/Certification
