Job summary

HonorHealth is seeking a Medical Assistant for the Deer Valley Primary Care Clinic in Phoenix, AZ. You will provide front and back office support, escort patients, prepare exam rooms, and assist clinicians to ensure a seamless patient experience.

Ideal candidates have a MA training program, are able to perform venipuncture and basic in-office procedures, and hold BLS certification. Certification as CMA is preferred; a Fingerprint Clearance Card is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Completion of a medical assistant training program is required.
• BLS certification is required; CMA preferred; Fingerprint Clearance Card required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares treatment rooms and assists physicians during exams.
• Provides front and back office support and patient scheduling.
• Performs venipuncture and CLIA waived tests as directed.
• Maintains patient records and communicates with pharmacies.
• Escort patients and ensure smooth patient flow in clinic.
