Job summary

MarinHealth Medical Network is seeking a Medical Assistant for the Front/Back Swing in Greenbrae, CA. You will support providers with patient rooming, vitals, injections, and procedures, while ensuring accurate data entry in the EMR and coordination of referrals.

The role requires a Medical Assistant credential, BLS, and at least one year of experience in a physician’s office or clinic setting. You will work under the Clinical Lead and Practice Leader in a day shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Medical Assistant certification from an accredited program such as NHA and AMCA.
• BLS Certification required.
• At least one year of related medical assisting experience in a physician’s office or clinical setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and obtain vital signs, reason for visit, and document symptoms.
• Provide injections, immunizations and other patient care services as ordered by the provider.
• Document all information in the electronic medical record and manage referrals.
• Recognize urgent medical needs and triage care appropriately.
