Qualifications

• At least 1 year of medical assisting experience in a physician's office or clinical setting; re-processing/procedural experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Room patients, take vitals, record visit details and symptoms.
• Provide injections and immunizations as ordered by the provider.
• Assist with procedures and triage urgent medical needs.
• Document results, prescriptions, and referrals in the EMR.
• Maintain patient records and confidentiality; complete referrals accurately.
• Answer phones, schedule appointments, check in patients, and handle insurance verifications.
