A leading healthcare provider is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinic operations and enhance patient experiences. Responsibilities include patient care, administrative tasks, and assisting healthcare providers. Candidates must have a diploma from an accredited program and MA certification. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to maintain high standards of patient confidentiality.
The Medical Assistant performs both clinical and administrative duties that directly support efficient clinic flow, effective and safe clinic operations, and an excellent patient experience. The Medical Assistant supports patient care by taking medical histories, accurately capturing and documenting patient vital signs, requesting and updating patient medical records, communicating with patients, and providing documentation for patients or members of the healthcare team while maintaining patient confidentiality at all times. The primary responsibilities may vary based on state regulations.
Education Level: Diploma from an accredited Medical Assistant program required. MA certification required; if not currently certified, certification must be obtained within 6 months to 1 year depending on state requirements.
Experience: 1+ years of experience in an office-based healthcare setting preferred.
