Las Vegas Urology LLP is seeking a patient-focused Medical Assistant / Front Office Float to join our team. The role involves rooming patients, assisting with procedures, and handling front desk duties in a busy urology practice.
Responsibilities include scheduling, insurance referrals, chart checks, and basic clerical tasks, with opportunities to support wound care, specimen handling, and injections as needed. High school diploma or GED required; CMA/ABR-OE preferred.
This is an opportunity to join a growing and well-respected practice! Las Vegas Urology is currently seeking a patient-focused, team oriented Medical Assistant / Front Office Float to join our team. Our staff works together in taking care of our patient's needs and has been doing so for decades.
Rooming patients, set up and assisting with procedures and recording the control logs. Check in / out patients, schedule appointments and insurance referrals.

Requires standing and walking for periods of time. Some bending, lifting, and stretching required. Manual dexterity required for use of telephone and computer keyboard. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Position requires the ability to work in stressful situations. Involves contact with patients. Occasional pressure due to multiple patients being seen by the doctor.
Knowledge of the Back-Office procedures. Skill in operating the practice management systems. Ability to read, understand and follow oral and written instruction. Ability to handle stressful situations. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, employees, and the public. Front office experience in a medical practice. Bilingual is a plus.
High School Diploma or GED.
Certified Medical Assistant or ABR-OE from AAMA a plus
