Job summary

INTEGRIS Health Medical Group North and South Sleep Medicine Outpatient Clinics in Oklahoma City, OK seek a day shift Medical Assistant float to provide direct patient care, take vitals, collect history, and assist with labs and referrals. The float will move between clinics to support patient flow.

Ideal candidates hold a national MA certification or have 6 months clinic MA experience, plus CPR/BLS within 90 days, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Current nationally recognized Medical Assistant certification/registration is required, or 6 months of clinic MA experience.
• CPR or BLS certification within 90 days of employment.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English (verbal/written).

Responsibilities

• Take vitals and patient history, venipuncture, lab, x-ray, referrals per provider/direction.
• Document patient information including lab values, pain levels, education needs, nutrition, and potential complications.
• Monitor patient status and participate in plan of care implementation and evaluation.
• Manage high call volume with professional telephone etiquette; organize workflow to meet patient needs.
• Float to clinics needing support and report to supervisor.
