Job summary

INTEGRIS Health is seeking a day shift, full-time Medical Assistant Float to support outpatient clinics in Enid, OK. The role requires travel to Woodward and Ponca City to care for patients, providing essential direct patient care such as vitals, history, lab work, and referrals.

The MA Float will work under the provider and clinical supervisor, handling patient communications, care planning, and coordination across clinics. CPR/BLS within 90 days; valid Oklahoma driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Current nationally recognized Medical Assistant certification/registration; OR 6 of months of clinic MA experience
• 6 months of customer service experience preferred
• CPR or BLS certification within 90 days of employment
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English (Verbal/Written)
• Must have Oklahoma State Driver's License and acceptable driving record

Responsibilities

• Gathers and documents information about patient condition, which include lab values, pain levels, patient education needs, nutritional status and potential complications
• Contributes to the assessment/re-assessment of patients
• Monitors and documents patient status
• Participates in the development of the plan of care, including implementation and evaluation of appropriate patient care interventions which may include medication administration (exclusive of narcotics)
• Manages large call volume while maintaining excellent telephone etiquette
• Organizes workflow to meet patient needs in a timely manner
• May retrieve and transport medications
• Floats to clinics that need support when conducting patient care
• Reports to assigned director, manager, supervisor or lead
