Qualifications

• Current nationally recognized Medical Assistant certification/registration; OR 6 months of clinic MA experience.
• CPR or BLS certification within 90 days of employment.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English (Verbal/Written).

Responsibilities

• Gathers and documents information about patient condition, including vitals, history, and education needs.
• Contributes to the assessment and reassessment of patients.
• Monitors and documents patient status; participates in the plan of care.
• May retrieve and transport medications; handles referrals and patient messages as directed.
