Job summary

INTEGRIS Health is seeking a Medical Assistant Float for a day shift, full-time role at the Cardiovascular Physicians Cardiology Outpatient Clinic in Oklahoma City, OK. This position floats to Oklahoma City and Rural areas and supports direct patient care with vitals, histories, labs, and referrals.

The role requires MA certification/registration or 6 months MA clinic experience, English communication skills, CPR/BLS within 90 days, and a valid Oklahoma license.

Qualifications

• Current nationally recognized Medical Assistant certification/registration; OR 6 months of clinic MA experience.
• CPR or BLS certification within 90 days of employment.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English (Verbal/Written).
• Must have Oklahoma State Driver's License and an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Take vitals, patient history, venipuncture, lab, x-ray, referrals, and patient phone messages as directed.
• Gather and document information about patient condition (lab values, pain levels, education needs, nutritional status, complications).
• Contribute to assessment/re-assessment of patients and monitor patient status.
• Develop and implement plan of care, including patient care interventions and potential medications (excludes narcotics).
• Manage large call volume and maintain telephone etiquette; organize workflow to meet patient needs.
• May retrieve and transport medications; float to clinics as needed.
