Job summary

Denova Collaborative Health LLC is hiring a Medical Assistant (Float) to support our clinical teams across multiple Phoenix locations. You will assist with patient intake, chart prep, vitals, and flow to ensure high-quality care and efficient operations.

Join a team focused on whole-person care, with opportunities to work across IHC, Dobson, and South Clinics, using EMR and billing tools while delivering compassionate patient support. Onsite schedule Tue-Sat 7:00 AM–4:00 PM, hybrid Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Medical Assistant certificate or a CAAHEP-accredited program.
• An associate degree in a health-related field or MA certification preferred.
• At least six months of healthcare experience preferred.
• Must have CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card or ability to obtain one.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patient charts and ensures forms are completed and added to the chart.
• Welcomes patients, checks in, and escorts them to exam rooms.
• Records vitals, medical history, visit reasons, and documents in the medical record.
• Conducts visual acuity screenings during routine physical exams.
• Administers injections and assists providers with procedures.
• Performs blood draws, collects specimens, and conducts urine drug screenings.
• Maintains cleanliness and readiness of exam rooms, stocks supplies, and disposes of biohazard waste.
• Collaborates with providers to troubleshoot patient issues.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
